Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Raphaël Varane Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos has rejected Real Madrid’s latest contract proposal and his agent will travel to England next week to sign a lucrative deal with Manchester United, according to a report.
The long-term defender is at the end of the contract in the summer and is free to negotiate with overseas suitors. Real remains willing to keep it and has proposed a two-year extension with a 10% discount on its current terms.
However, according to Allfijaches, Ramos rejected his advances and decided to move to the Premier League.
The Spanish outlet reports that Ramos has two options on the table: PSG and United. However, they claim that England have the greatest dominance for Ramos and that United will be the next stop of the 34-year-old.
Todofijaches claims that Ramos ‘ agent Rene Ramos will travel to England next week to conclude the terms of a two-year Old Trafford package. They claim the World Cup winner is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Red Devils worth an estimated £ 200,000 a week.
In addition, the report says that Real is well aware of Ramos ‘ intentions and will bring David Alaba as his successor. The Austrian defender, himself a free agent this summer, will sign a three-year contract after leaving Bayern Munich.
It is not the first time in his career that Ramos has been linked with United and reports must be followed with caution at this stage.
However, the possible departure of the Andalusian veteran will be a blow for Zinedine Zidane.
